Armor Advantage "Yellow" Trauma Plate
Description
Armor Advantage YELLOW is a medium weight ballistic trauma plate that achieves a perfect balance of maximum protection against common threats while keeping weight to a minimum. This plate is the ideal choice for individuals where weight is a concern but still need the strongest protection possible.

Armor Advantage patented YELLOW composite hard plates exceed the NIJ Level III standards upon which they are certified. YELLOW composite hard plates are designed to withstand multiple heavy rifle impacts such as Russian 7.62x54, which would completely blow through competing Level III plates. Although not specifically designed to stop armor piercing rounds, YELLOW has been tested to withstand multiple armor piercing rounds such as 5.56 NATO Green TIP Light AP (AR-15) and 5.56x39 AP (AK-47). In most cases, Armor Advantage YELLOW plates have been tested to withstand hundreds of non-armor piercing impacts that would completely destroy conventional NIJ Level III certified trauma plates. When your life is on the line, there is no such thing as “good enough” so instead, we build you the best!
Being our Medium weight Composite Hard Plate, Armor Advantage YELLOW series truly shows off the amazing capabilities of our patented metallic / polymer composite system. With our YELLOW composite hard plates, we optimize personal protection, keeping weight at a minimum while providing the best protection possible against common heavy rifle rounds commonly used by military and civilians alike. Armor Advantage YELLOW is especially popular with hunters and sport shooters where accidents involving powerful hunting rifles are a concern. The distinctive YELLOW color makes our plate immediately recognizable as the only medium weight Level III armored plate capable of stopping a great many 7.62x54 rifle rounds while providing the best spall protection in the world!

Armor Advantage’s patented compositing system provides superior protection from impacts, fragmentation, and spall, in addition to helping maintain the long term reliability of the trauma plate. It also helps catch oblique angle shots that have a tendency to skip off body armor and hit unprotected parts of the body. Unlike traditional ceramic plates, Armor Advantage composite hard plates do not break down over time due to drops, concussions, or general use. Armor Advantage composite hard plates do not require any special storage treatment and are always reliable. You can leave your armor in the trunk of your car or storage facility for years without worrying about damage due to heat, moisture, or bumping around, and the composite hard plates will be ready the moment you require protection.
Unlike competing metallic plates, Armor Advantage composite hard plates are not vulnerable to certain high velocity hunting rounds that easily penetrate our competitors products. Many competitors test their armor at long range or inside Kevlar vests in order to improve test results. Armor Advantage thoroughly tests our products at close range and under worst case scenarios where bullets will cause the most damage. We do this because the most dangerous encounters will likely be by surprise and at short range from multiple attackers. Armor Advantage designs our products to provide maximum protection when you need it most!
